Giant Hyacinths colors are bright and lasting; size and fragrance are outstanding. Hyacinths can be used in many ways; in formal beds or groups or very effectively in informal ways-scattered in the border between ground covers and perennials or in small clumps in front of evergreens. Excellent for window boxes. Excellent for forcing!
Multiflora Hyacinths are much looser and more graceful than the traditional hyacinth, but with the same heady perfume. Several flower stalks rather than just one, emerge from each bulb and create a splendid display. The new strain naturally flowers from a single bulb rather than artificially treated as in the past.
Double Hyacinths, like the single flower hyacinths, are among the most fragrant of the spring blooming bulbs. Double hyacinths have a much fuller, richer appearance with each floret having a second floret flowering out of it. Ideal in formal beds or in the garden border.
